SHIPPING POLICY

SHIPPING POLICY

 

1. Delivery area coverage, timelines & charges

(a) Currently, we ship within India only.  (b) On Ground Shipping is Free for all our products within India. (c) The delivery timelines can take 4-8 days depending on the location. 

 

2. Our shipping vendors

For all domestic shipments, we use a premier shipping aggregation software, which in turn automatically picks the shipping vendor to deliver the product depending on the best service & availability offered to a specific pin code. The 2 typical shipping vendors who deliver the product mostly in our experience have been Bluedart & Delhivery. However, if you have had an issue in getting deliveries done through any specific shipping vendor, please let us know so that we avoid sending through that shipping vendor to avoid delays.

 

3. Post order, no changes possible in customer shipping information & delivery scheduling

Once a package is picked up by our shipping vendor, (a) we cannot make any edits to the customer shipping & contact details. (b) we cannot share the delivery person's contact details since our interaction is only with the delivery vendor's customer care, not directly with the delivery person.

 

4. Unserviceable Pincodes

In case our shipping vendors do not count your location as a serviceable area, we will not be able to deliver the package, and will need to refund your order.

 

5. Sundays & Public Holidays

(a) Sundays & Public Holidays are not generally considered as working days for dispatches from our workshop, so dispatches will then take place the following day. (b) Sundays & Public Holidays are not generally considered as working days for deliveries by our shipping vendors, so scheduled deliveries will then take place the following day.

 

 6. Incorrect shipping recipient contact details

In case the customer has entered incorrect contact details (shipping address, phone number, email), we are unable to process the order for dispatch. We will get in touch with the customer to clarify the correct details but until it is rectified shipping vendors will not accept the packages for delivery.

 

7. Time-Sensitive Order Timelines

Our shipping timelines mentioned above is the typical time frame (for 90% of packages) for our shipping vendors to make the deliveries pan-India. However, occasionally it takes an extra 1-2 days to complete the delivery and in rare instances, the shipping vendor needs more time. So, in case the deliveries are time-sensitive (for eg: needed urgently before a trip), we would not recommend taking the chance if the time available is short.

 

8. Max number of delivery attempts

Our shipping vendors will typically attempt the delivery within the expected timelines shared. In case the customer is not available to take delivery at the recorded address in the 1st attempt, they will make maximum 2 more attempts (total 3 attempts) in the following 1-2 days. After 3 failed attempts, the product will be returned back to our workshop and the order will stand cancelled. 

 

9. Shipment Pickup instead of delivery

In case you cannot take delivery at your home/office address, you can have the option to pick up the luggage from our New Delhi workshop if you'd like. Once you place the order, just drop us an email about this & we'll keep the package ready for you to pick up.

 

10. Delivery Timings

Deliveries are attempted typically during working hours 10am - 6 pm. Even if the Fedex tracking sheet says that delivery will happen outside working hours, say 21:30 - no worry, that's just a max time given. Exact time of delivery cannot be scheduled as such - each customer's address is mapped out on the delivery schedule along with multiple other addresses. The delivery executive will contact you before making the delivery, so you can check with them whether they are open to coming at a time convenient for you.

 

11. Delivery Status alerts

Our shipping vendors will ensure that you get regular SMS/Email alerts when the shipment is on the way. So the status can range from 'fulfilled', 'in-transit' and 'delivered'. If the status says 'fulfilled', it means that it has been dispatched from our workshop but is yet to be delivered to you.

 

12. Air Shipping Charges & Timelines

For faster shipping requirements i.e. air delivery, we can offer it on a chargeable basis. Typically, Fedex Overnight can deliver shipments within 2 business days pan-India. In case you require this, we will share our net banking details so that transfer can be done for us to process the shipment.

 

13. Shipping as gifts

In case you would like to gift one of our products to someone, please place the order on our website. When placing the order (a) please enter the recipient's address in the shipping details so that the shipment goes to the recipient (b) please enter your email ID & phone number so that all delivery alerts & shipping coordination can happen with you instead of the gift recipient (c) email us that it is a gift so that we do not include the price tags & invoice in the parcel (d) select a pre-paid payment option instead of Cash on Delivery.

 

14. Shipping vendors don't offer 'Try & Buy' service

All major shipping vendors have a policy to simply drop off the package at your designated address. They will not be ready to open the package for you to 'try & buy'. However, once they have delivered it, and you have seen it - if for any reason you want to return the product, we arrange the reverse shipping & refund as a separate task.

 

15. Jammu & Kashmir pincodes exception

All J&K pincodes are available for pre-paid orders only as COD is not offered by our courier partners to that region.

 

16. Local mobile numbers recommended for shipping details

While international mobile numbers entered will receive the shipping alerts smoothly, it is recommended to provide a local India number since delivery representatives do need to coordinate logistics such as timings/landmarks to make the final deliveries.
